At Heritage Hive Studio we celebrate the magic that happens when two generations create side by side.

We’re a mother-daughter design brand crafting vintage and nature-inspired artwork across stationery, décor, and apparel.

I’m Leah, and I share this creative journey (and plenty of coffee breaks) with my daughter, Sophie. Together, we find joy in turning everyday inspiration into art that feels personal, timeless, and full of heart.

Our home is our studio, a cozy hive of ideas filled with vintage treasures, sketchbooks, threads, and laughter. It’s where old meets new, and where each design begins, sometimes as a pencil sketch, sometimes as a spark of digital creativity, but always with warmth and intention.

Necessity and passion are at the heart of this collaboration. I live with several chronic illnesses, including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis, and Cardiovascular Disease, which make traditional work challenging. Creating from home allows me to balance care with creativity, something made possible by the support and love of my wonderful daughter.

Sophie brings her own spark to the hive through her indie art-fashion brand, Xitten, where she hand-draws every design. She’s an incredibly talented artist, and I’m proud to share this creative life with her.
